Alexisrouzee 6
hi guys, just thought id start a new topic of your shoot pics large and small. i had a great morning last sunday at a shoot of mine in kent, its a fairly small area of land (about 3 acres i guess) but its over run with squirrels and rabbits, anyway 10 mins in i got my first squirrel with a head shot, even though i have a silencer everything scattered for cover.... so i quietly worked my way down the field, when a rabbit bolted of the field to my left and stopped dead infront of me but stopped with just its head infront of a post so it couldn't see me?? aimed for a heart shot at only 20m and the rabbit went down, then then as i was going to call it a day i took one last walk down the hedge line and bagged my 2nd squirrel... all in all a great morning!! 3 really nice clean shots and a rabbit for the stew. please add your pics and a few comments Quote Link to post

I have not long got into hunting with an Air Rifle, but have had a lot of other shooting experience, so my hunting tally to date is one rabbit, one squirrel, and about 6 pigeons. I can sympathise with your back problem, and hope you get better soon mate. I have two bulging disc's at the moment, been a real problem for some time, going for injections into spine on the 24th of this month. Some day's its painful to walk, so have not been out very much, very frustrating, and literaly......a pain in the arse Did manage to get out for a hobble yesterday, only saw one rabbit at about 80yds.....laughing and waving at me Just got an HW100T, so Im gagging to get some time out there. Alexisrouzee 6
arhh bill that bad news i hope and fingers crossed i have just had some disc movement and the muscles have gone into spazam around it, but it is fecking painful!!! in the words of victor meldew i cant believe it, only oct of last year i did hadrians wall with 40kgs on my back in 4 days and not a twing?? i guess my life has finally caught up with me!! nice... very nice new toy, there is a vid on here where one of the lads are getting pellet on pellet at 50m with the hw100!! i hope you better soon and have a chance to go out with it!! i thinking bout the new R10.... take care regards Quote Link to post
Sweeney-Todd 208
Hi Lex.....me again. I forgot to say, dont know if you have tried before, TIGER BALM is excellent for muscle strains, get the red, its stronger than the white mate I think Boot's still sell it.......worth a go. ATB. Alexisrouzee 6
funny you should say tiger balm as a friend of mine went to thai land last year and bought a load back (a lot stronger than uk version) and have been using it, love that smell aye! im on diazipan and co-codimal... not that its doing much but give me gut ache!! oh well... grin n bare it Quote Link to post
Sweeney-Todd 208
Hi Lex. years are catching us up......too much hard work and not enough shooting I think... I bet the Hadrian's wall trek was nice. R10...hmmm I looked at it too, in left hand, but at the time BSA, and some frustrated owners were having a lot of problems, so I was put off getting one. A real shame, I think BSA dipped out on a lot of ptential sales because of it. Zini on here has one, and loves his. I dont know if the problems are sorted yet, might be worth waiting till the spring/summer to let the problem batch go through? Mind, having said that, I am so pleased with the HW100, it shoot's itself. I think most, if not all PCP's are easey to achieve good results with, as long as the basic shooting principles are applied. Achieving the pellet on pellet grouping isnt difficult when bench rested in good conditions, even off the bipod you get amazing results, compared to a springer its a doddle to shoot one. Are you still thinking about the R10 Lex? ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post
