I think I have said this before somewhere, but beware of Ex-Russian & Israeli NV, as it has been reported that they may leak radiation.

 

Be careful of where you buy it and make sure you can take it back if all goes wrong or if the NV needs servicing.

 

Cheap imports are tempting, but could cost alot more in the long run.

 

I imported a pair of Danner Boots from America for $250. When it came to having them resoled, nobody in this country could touch them as the new soles had to be specially welded on. Tought me an expensive lesson !!!

I very much doubt (in fact I would guarantee) that a big firm like this would be prepared to take the risk in stating it was a present.

initial question was anybody seen one or used one. what you all failed to tell me was they are £450 cheaper in the UK anyway thats without any of my buying skills and getting discount

Personal opinion but unless there is a real problem with vermin I think that NV is pretty unsporting. That said if there IS a problem it is just the tool for the job
