what do you think the most ideal dog is for lamping and ferreting bunnys, quickest of the mark etc your opinions

a dog with alot of greyhound or greyhound whippet .a bit of a silly qeustion , greyhound and whippet are fasest dogs in the worls so easy answer

lok up the old erdr mags there guys who used to hunt in proper rabbiting contests not just lamping youll see some good rabbiting type curs fast and tough ,good retreivers and biddable

thanks for the replys mate and ill look it up but its not a silly question, its more of a silly answer obv the ideal rabbiting dog should have a lot of greyhound or whippet in but what else collie? beddy? none? and how much of it, just wanted other peoples opinions on the best dog for rabbiting, most people go for good all rounders

look up th old earth dog magazines youll see d slieght oldstrain collie grew type orlike the dogs i keep for rabbiting pretty handy had an old bitch catching fast rabbits up to her 9th season a very good animal, but if iwas starting from scratch i would go for a line bred collie type grew i think colie john has some i have ayouing one 23 at shoulder just the ticket for rabbiting , not a patch on her mother but coming on

was agame dpog and hunted till i put her away at ten ,she was areal dog and never falterd but hard work and caut everything that walked flew or bolted not a dog for the feint hearted vbut at bolted rabbits never saw her eqauled a real power house but not overly big
