Tobias 0 Posted January 22, 2010 Report Share Posted January 22, 2010 Im thinking of getting a new scope for my Remmy 700 .223 are leupold as good as some of there ads say im looking at spending about £600, Ive currently got a MTC Viper 6-24x56 which has been great its just a bit big and bulky and i keep catching it in and out of the cabnet because of the raised turrets, It will be used for lamping and daylight shooting for mainly foxs but some bunnies when needed i was thinking of the VX2 - VX3 range 4-12x50 duplex or 4.5-14x50 duplex or even the LR duplex i have a leupold brochure im looking at,or should i try other makes.Any advice welcome. Mr_Logic 5 Posted January 23, 2010 Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 Leupold VX-3s are excellent. I have 2, and they're both really good. I also have a Mark 2 6-18x40 (the VX II Tactical jobby) and it's excellent as well. Any of those will destroy an MTC. I know Baz on AirgunBBS rates MTC, but I have 3 Leupolds which are great, and one MTC 6-24x56 which is a load of faulty Chinese tat. I know which I prefer!! Quote Link to post
