slingshot82 32
Got a 44 ball mould cast 160. Bands came, put it together,3 shots and the f*cking thing snapped, left hand arm, right at the handle. Bit pissed at the time, but already lookin back,it was funny as... Gonna get me some 20mm marine ply today. Haha too funny . I bet you were gutted matey, have a look at the arm/post that snapped and check to see if you hit it with your ball. I have done this by trying to get a quick shot off at a moving target. They cant stand up to 18ft.lbs. If you did hit it, you must not have had the bands in line with the fork when you released. Also how are you holding your catty? you need to support the fork with your thumb and index finger. Marine ply should work well. ATB buddy Quote Link to post

jasper65 6
Knocked one up a few weeks back but have to say I'm disapointed with the crap elastic I picked up off Ebay. its pretty light to pull with no real power to it! the lad now uses it now and again practicing in the back field....
