whin 463
a ferret to me has to have the strengh to work a warren, be able to do it three days a week and be able to kill rabbits if they dont want to bolt ,be easly handles and not hyper steady and get on with rabbiting no pro b, greyhound ferrets were fine but like stronger types who have the attitude to deal with rabbits as shortly they will fight rather than bolt in some areas january febuary , micro show fluffy ferrets , weasel ferrets keep them give me agood lump of abitch ferret who goes in and comes out when the job is done ,i like sandys and whites been my best workers over the years when i used to eabbit for to sel them big numbers , Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
It all boils down to the type of sets you are ferreting deep sets small bolting ferrets or such as the dales good strong dog ferrets that could work all day and most of the setts if they killed in could be dug out with a desert spoon they were that shallow Quote Link to post
