black lab 3
Hi, Was down at the target the other day with my .270 and some new loads i had to try out, was set up approx 130 yrds, first 3 rounds fired were very good, next 3 on checking target completly missed paper first thoughts were Scope had moved after checking it out Scope was not the problem, still dont know what made me check Moderator next and found it had become loose, just in no more, and when i inspected the Mod the rounds had nicked the end slightly enough to make the rounds miss target, has anybody else had this problem Mod becoming loose? this has never happened before and dont know if it was my fault as i had given the rifle a good clean a few days before and had the Mod off, now after i have a shot i am finding myself checking the Mod all the time and is getting to me any advice would be welcome. blackfox 9
Hey, ive got a MAE T-12 on my .204, its pretty long with it on so i have to take it off to get it into the cabinet..... If im out having a good shoot up at some paper i will take the mod off and let the rifle and MOD cool down when its starting to get hot. Ive almost done exactly the same thing myself!! Ive just got into habbit now of just giving it a check every now and then. Cheers Sam Quote Link to post
