I know every dog is different but I've got a 6yr old staffy and he is a bastad. Indoors he's the most loving dog I've seen but outside he goes loopy if I let him off the lead and won't come back but do you reckon with a bit of hard training in a closed tennis court he will change?

What would you consider 'hard training in a closed tennis court?' I beleive most dogs can be improved through regular, consistent training. Give it a go and see what happens it's got to be worth a try, otherwise do the responsible thing and keep it on a lead.

By hard training I mean cosistent without go OTT so that he doesn't get bored of it just want him to come back on command etc. I will if need be, I would just like him to be able to come out when I go shooting etc.

Yes since 6 weeks but he was a nightmare in and out of the house when younger and would yank on the lead. I have now got him to walk next to me to some exten but he's still got a way to go. Thanks for your advice
