I go up there about twice a week, there is a lot of rabbits up there but some of the fields are rabbit netted so it can be a bit too easy at times. Its quite a way to travel for me (60 miles) so i thought i would check what the snow situation was like before i drove all the way up there to find it was covered and frozen.....again! On the way back i came through plenmeller. We lamped about 4 or 5 fields from the car and seen well over a hundred rabbits. We werent going to get out and run the dogs, just seeing what was about. As i said we had lamped 4 or 5 fields, and the keepers were straight out &and 'escorted' us back onto the A69 Quote Link to post
jamie2004live 163
briefly had permission up there (daytime only) wasnt uncommon for adog to do 30-40. also usedto walk the stone walls round with the terriers you could get some big hauls that way Quote Link to post
