Walking to heel

Just wondering how you get your pups to walk to heel as i will be trying to do this soon.

Looking forwad to some of the different methods you all use,Cheers from Nercwys.

I personally use the technique of turning,stopping..always make it seem like a game, if the dog pulls, i turn in the opposite direction walking into there path or if they pull i stop dead... I would leave training the pup the heel command for a while stu?

I have read on another web site that you can start them to heel young is this true? I dont know,i started bow when he was around 13 month old.

I started Rosie when she was only 3 months - made it into a game as rickyspringer said by making her sit every time she pulled. She was really biddable though and i know people who this hasn't workedfor.
