mjr88 50
i Went down to my permission earlier today for a couple of hours , hoping to bag a few woodies , and didn't even see one of the blighters What i did see though was quite a few Gulls. This leads me to my question : Is it still legal to shoot gulls with a shotgun , as i seem to have read somewhere that they have been taken off the pest control list. Tug 168
here are several general licenses. You can shoot LBBG on some of these ONLY if you have tried and failed using other non lethal methods. The wording of the GL is only that you must be "satisfied" that other methods would not be effective, you don't have to actually try them yourself. As long as you are confident that a scarecrow or gas gun would soon be ignored and that running up and down the field waving your arms would only disperse the gulls for a short period of time rather than preventing them returning...
