Hello from Somerset

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to this forum but not new to hunting. I started foxhunting when I was 11 and hunted for 10 years mounted. Since I lost my trusted hunter I have been out shooting and ferreting but more recently got into falconry. I have a hawk who is a wonderful hunting companion and two ferrets, one of which is currently down a burrow refusing to come out. Most of my friends don't understand how I can enjoy standing in a cold field waiting for a rabbit to bolt, but if they see the hawk in pursuit I'm sure they understand.

hopefully I can learn more about other types of hunting too here, so hello everyone!
