breeding your own dogs

since i started with lurchers ive always bred my own dogs ive had one or two good working dogs in off mates apart from that bred my own stuff who breeds there own dogs who would rather buy a pup in and who likes to buy a dog already working cheers

i get more pleasure from breeding my own and seein how they turned out... buying in pups and training is a close second...

Can't quite comment with too much experiance as just bed my first working liter. I was looking around but thought my bitch has / had done enough to prove worthy of breeding from and i know what i wanted from my next dog. If you breed yourself you are also in the position of knowing both parents in the mix and thier strength's and weaknes's. JMO

i prefer to breed my own you know every thing then about the parents and the pups im going to breed my 2 in a couple of days and the sire i have already bred him you seem to get more enjoyment out of it i think. and at the end of the day no 1 can take any credit only you atb
