Its snapping all over the place an she looks a mess. Any remedies. cheers,ATB Burt. A bit more information needed here: What do you feed her? How old is she? Is she entire/has she been in season recently? What breed/cross/type is she? What are her living conditions? How is she otherwise? Quote Link to post
the_stig 6,614
i`d agree more info would help . but bear in mind a lot of terrier coats are crap at this time of year.i keep on top of mine by brushng weekly and i strip out in march -try bathing in a good dog shampoo and brushng through see if that helps.. skycat 6,174
A dog's coat shouldn't be crap at any time of year if it is being fed correctly: certainly an increase in the fat content of the diet is good in the cold weather if the dog lives outside. Some dogs also look bad if they are wormy. Worm the dog properly with Drontal or Milbemax. If the dog isn't already on a decent meat based diet then get it on to a good complete meat based diet or even better on to raw food with plenty of animal fat in it. And make sure that the dog isn't bedded on anything which could irritate its skin such as Vetbed (that's if the dog is scratching a lot) Quote Link to post
