Boxing Day Shooting.

Who's is going Shooting on Boxing Day? and where? even Beating a great day out! it's one the Biggest Day's in a Shooter's Calender i will be on my estate and with a bit of luck get a good stalk and maybe a Roe in the Roe sack, all the best where ever you are, Wullie

 

 

Ended up with two Roe's this morning good Boxing Day will have a few tonight, going no where tomorrow apart from kitchen, promised to do the cooking

I'm out stalking tomorrow weather permitting. The deer are nice and plump this time of year. Nice thick layer of fat on their arses making the venison more delicious than usual.

 

Easy to drag them back to the jeep in the snow as well

There's something about Boxing Day, it's just good to see faces that you have not see for a while, and a bit of banter, Merry Xmas mate

i went shooting this morning with my boy we had 4 rabbits 10 pheasants and a pigeon not bad morning

My day went well never had a blank peg.

shot 11 pheasants 1 massive pigeon and a rabbit.

Also had a hare a pheasant and another pigeon which were'nt picked.

I went to the local hunt meet with my son, was a good turn out and a bit of decent hunting too. My cousin and myself tried for a doe christmas morning but no luck, was great too be out over the festive period.
