fensaluki 35
If the ground below the snow is soft and its fluffy snow and not frozen you should be ok mate but be sure this is the case if not you could be in real trouble. If in doubt mate don't bother.no point ruining a good dog for the sake of a run or two hey? ATB Quote Link to post

Endgame 68
can you run your dogs in the snows or woul?d it be dangerous for the dog FRESH SNOW WTH A DECENT DEPTH & NO HARD FROSTY GROUND UNDERNEATH SHOULD AID YOUR DOG/ BUT IVE SEEN IT HINDER A YOUNG DOG THAT HAD NEVER RAN IN THE SNOW BEFORE. A FEW LAPS AROUND YOUR LOCAL PARK IN THE SNOW WIF UR PUP LOOKING GOOD AINT THE SAME AS A PROPER RACE IM AFRAID. Quote Link to post
Bootsha 1,306
One good thing about a dusting of snow, you can see your quarry a bit quicker, a bit deeper and you can track a bit; but as rightly said already, its whats under the snow is what you have to worry about. If in doubt, leave your dog in the kennel, knocked up toes aren't worth risking for a quick dabble. B Quote Link to post
