Guest buster Posted September 15, 2006 Report Share Posted September 15, 2006 I HAVE JUST TOOK THE DOGS FOR A WALK AND I WAS WATCHING MY TERRIERS WORKING THE BUSHES, I HAD MY BIG DOG ON THE SLIP WAITING....MINDING MY OWN BUISNESS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO WHERE I WAS WALKING AND THE NEXT MINUTE I WAS DOWN A F**KING BIG HOLE ON ONE LEG, I PUT MY HANDS OUT TO STOP ME FALLING FACE FIRST AND FELL IN THE BIGGEST F**KING MUD AND WATER AND WAS LATTERED I JUMPED UP QUICK TO MAKE SURE NO F**KER SAW ME....HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE BEFORE? :11: :11: :wacko: :black eye: :tongue4: Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I kid you not.....Woke up with about 20 thousand fireman digging me out.. I knew the place well ~ or at least had untill about five years prior to this event. Nothing sinister; I just lived in and trapped the area. This huge sett was part of the natural landscape. Not much had changed though. Stream was still where it should have been, though the grass along the high banks was longer than I ever remembered. But where was this f***ing sett?! I'd been giving it the Great White Hunter shpiel and was out to impress her with my knowledge of nature. Now I couldn't find this poxy thing! Then, in mid sentance; I vanished, up to my bloody waist! Buggers had expanded it and I'd found one of their holes alright. Hidden by the long grass. She laughed and laughed and laughed. Bitch! mouse 282 Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 following hounds one day with mrs and kids when the mrs just vanished in the ground about 4 foot.she had trod on a old man hole cover and it flipped.me and the kids were crying with laughter .she was raring cause she had cut all her leg.still laugh when we go up that cover nowadays. Guest Bodach Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 Ratting in grain store way 4 terriers, usually went on me own but took a mate way me this nite, just as well, turned off the lights in building and walked around corner to next building to rat in, bloody farmer had left the cover off the draw pit, I disappeared down the hole which was triangular, left leg around my back with my heel up at my neck, would never have got out on my own, six weeks off work way a twisted knee, aye ratting is great fun!
