welsh_hunter12 120 Posted December 8, 2009 Report Share Posted December 8, 2009 i lost my first lurcher recently and it broke my heart.she was a salukixgreyhound to a deerhoundxgreyhound.she smashed into a rock while ferreting and died on impact.i've just bought a lakeland bitch pup from good line of earth dogs so i wont a new one to work along side her.any ideas? she must also be good to break to ferrets.i dont wont a lurcher for speed just for brains.please get in touch with some ideas happy hunting Quote Link to post
jackard 36 Posted December 8, 2009 Report Share Posted December 8, 2009 sorry to hear about your loss mate. if you was happy with the cross you had why dont you try to trace some 1 with the same breeding as the 1 you had ( theres always more than 1 in a litter ) if you cant get 1 from the same litter you may be able to get an out cross from a litter sister of brother . just a thought atb jackard Quote Link to post

The father catches and retreives rabbits back to hand, the mother has just started hunting, she is bushing and marking walls, etc. I do not want a lot for a pup as long as you give a good home. They are 3/4 bull 1/4 greyhound. I do not have a problem with kenneling, the mother is in with a whippet/greyhound bitch and a bull/greyhound dog.
