hi my patterdale is having a fake pregance and got milk, she is only 15 month old and just had her second season..any one no how to get read of milk...

i think you can get milk supression tablets from the vet(i know i hate vets too),but it's still best to let the vet decide what can be done,

You need to get it sorted fairly soon , as it only gets worse with age.

 

My 8 year old black lab has had three phantom pregnancied this year and the vet is concerned she could get mastitis.

 

The only option is to have her speyed, which I am considering. She was absolutely hopeless beating today and stayed at my feet the whole day. Couldn't wait to get in the truck at lunch time.

 

I know it costs a fortune but best to talk to the vet about it.

many thanks sib, will get het to vets monday,,may stop them both falling out as well when one of them is in season.

a teaspoon of epsom salts from the chemist does the same as tablets from the vets work to get the milk of my bitch
