So many stars out, no cloud, didn't need a lamp. The few rabbits that were knocking about were right by the hedges and ran as soon as the lamp went on. I let the dogs off the leads about 50 yds from home and sure enough; a fox lifted out of the stubble when they were passed it and heading for home !
