well that programme showed nothin on longnets? i know how to make purse nets i was just wonderin how many meshes and mesh size etc? cheers

I'd go 15 meshes wide and 2 and a eighth inch mesh

Hang on, look at what he is doing??? He's making a net for fishing the knots are the same pretty much just substitute the wooden template for a smaller size hey presto you've made a long net.
