colliejohn 840
at present i own and run a bed x grey which stands 22inch, a game wee dog who is 1st class on rabbits, rats and(fox pre ban) im now thinking of lining him to a greyhound bitch, but can anybody tell me about a bed 2nd cross as a working lurcher and does anybody work one at present.any imfomation or photos would be appreciated, cheers hi mate years ago i used to own a bedlington greyhound first cross bitch and she was a excellent little bitch she stood at 20 inches tall, she was a good day and night dog with bags of stamina.sadly today this cross is becoming something of a rareity and not many people breed them,it,s a shame because they are a good cross,in my opinion the threequarter cross lacks stamina ,coat, feet, and can sometimes throw to big,if you cant get hold of a bedlington greyhound first cross bitch,i would put him over a first cross bedlington whippet, the pups from this cross would inherit good coats feet have plenty of stamina and would throw on the small size.regards collie john.
