lurcher-lass 1
Well i have had mine that and the flu jab on the same day. the flu jab needle hurt more going in, but the swine flu one hurt for at least two days after, leaves you with a pretty big red mark on your arm and a bruise afterwards, but at the end of the day i choose to get it down, and i think im better of now. therays 2
make no mistake this virus is a killer. it is hitting the younger population the hardest there are already lots of children being admitted to hospital, and i no this first hand, this country despite being told otherwise is ill prepared for this virus. the worst possible scenario for this would be for a child to end up on ECMO which will happen, a pregnant female has already received treatment in sweden for ECMO. this country has very few ECMO beds (look up ECMO and see how horrific this treatment is!) having been through this treatment with our own son, who happens to be the longest ECMO baby in the world, if it could be avoided by a simple vaccine then I wouldn't hesitate. I agree that healthy adults should hold fire, but if your immunity or anyone else that you live with is at all compromised I would be getting that vaccine asap. we all had ours today, and apart from a grouchy 2 year old everyone seems fine. all vaccines have risks associated with them, but fewer than the disease itself! poacher3161 1,766
IMHO i think the goverment are keeping us in the dark over the severity of this virus.I have just heard a child has died in my home town and it hasent made headline news so as not to cause panic. It will be my daughters choice if they have their kids done as i do not trust this goverments words on this issue.atb dell
