Leeview 792
Not the first time this has happened all good ideas previously mentioned but still nothing gets done I suggested what happens on other boards where the money gets sent to a HOLDER, who then informs the seller he's got the money the seller sends the goods and when the buyer recieves the goods he informs the Holder who then forwards the money Downside: who could be bothered to do it? Well how about a commission to THL? say 5% thats 50p per £10 for peace of mind and would sort these people out Y.I.S Leeview

tdavepat 8
I was done recently out of 75 quid by some d'head on here who took the money and ran. He even had the neck to ask me for the rest of the down payment. I believe the forum to be rife with such people and unfortunatly I have lost trust. They just log on as another user with a rotating IP so they are not traceable. I even since had a go at a member I bought something off for holding back on me. It turns out he was above board and totally trustworthy, and he was rightly a bit pissed at me for doubting his integrity. Paypal do not protect against such ripoffs as a lot of people believe. Something needs to be done as the forum is giving these guys the avenue to advertise, therefore in my mind the forum must be partly responsible. A lot of forums don't want the hassle or responsibility so don't allow sales, but I enjoy trawling through the sales section (APART FROM THE DOG SECTION, WHICH I TRUELY DETEST - don't breed if you haven't already got takers!!) Rant over. A couple of good ideas have come forward. Feedback is good, but I don't sell that much so I wouldn't be able to provide much in that department. Limiting the opportunity to amount of posts is not feasible because some people rack up 1000 sh1t boring posts in a lazy afternoon. Leeview has come up with something that is so simple that it would work....if someone can be arsed. But surely the commission he suggests would attract a trustworthy soul.
