when iam using my mk3 i start off putting it on search then i switch to locate when i do this it just goes dead and i get nothing can anyone help me or do they know what it is i have installed all new batteries. cheers mike.

If its a brand new locator and your still using the batteries it came with, then bin those batteries and get new ones, I found the batteries that came with my locator very lame

when your on search mode dont switch 2 locate till its reading 8ft mate and if it doesnt work then it il be your batterys

ive got probs with mine

on search it will only pick up 8ft

then switch to locate and will only pick up from 4ft

 

like you i have changed the batteries

but to no avail

 

let us no if you find the prolbom or if you have to send it to rip off deben
