runforyourlife 361
Yea snoopdog, your right there. two weekends ago on the same moor we came across a red doe. At first i thought nah but this just confirmed it.... It was actually making its way to the lowest part of the wall so it could cross the road and head out into miles of moorland... I just stopped in the right place at the right time... Loftie my partner(hunting) turned up at the same time, and i was glad so he could also witness it.... It made its way back down the valley, went and stood in the tree line and just watched. We put a plan together, then undid the plan, lol. I am sure if we had of cleared the area and sneeked back we would have seen this fine beast cross the road and carry on its way. Two reds in 2 weekends just confirms that they are here...... Cheers Russ... Quote Link to post

These are a different set of reds. These escaped less than a year ago!! And as far as i know there was no shoot! So it is a different herd. This character who had these also had roe as well. The full lot got free, to add to the number of roe that had been there for many a year.....These are probarbly about 14mile from your place? Quote Link to post
