bedrock 16
Hello all. I’ve found this free trapping e-book and I thought it would be worth you look. Don’t take every thing you read in it seriously and allot of the methods shown in this e-book are highly illegal but its still worth a look. atb bedrock http://www.gutenberg.org/files/17093/17093-h/17093-h.htm Quote Link to post

OldTrapCollector 377
I have just bought a first edition hard back copy of this old book - it is full of great old tips and traps And since the e-book is free it is even better, eh? OTC Quote Link to post
john b 38
That book really is an interesting read. I first discovered it a couple of years ago and was so impressed I started to stock it. You can buy reprints relatively cheaply but make sure you get an illustrated version - without pictures it's nothing. From this page http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/17093 you can down load a copy so you can read it off line. Download the HTML thought as the plain text has no pics. Another interesting book available free on line is 'With Nature and a Camera' by Richard Kearton available HERE Chapters IV, VIII and IX are a particularly fascinating as an insight into the old methods: Chapter IV. Gamekeepers: their friends and foes Chapter VIII. How cage birds are caught: a day on Brighton Downs Chapter IX. The art of duck-decoying Quote Link to post
