mattydski 560
Does anyone know the implications of Swine Flue and ferrets? My kids have both got swine flue, so me and the wife have been exposed to it.... and its not leaving a lot of options open for their care other than us Quote Link to post

Guest shadowz
Ferrets can get swine flu if exposed to it. Thats why ferrets were used in the swine flu trials as they are the only animals who can catch the human flu and swine flu. So to be safe - minimal handling and use mask/gloves when cleaning/handling them Quote Link to post
mattydski 560
I did wonder? I have it now, so I am going to have to be real careful if what you say is true! Quote Link to post
