Best regards Magyar Agar The black dog is out of two ACD first cross, the sire was out of blue cattle dog x greyhound, the dam was from same blue ACD dog to a different greyhound bitch. The greyhounds were ex track the acd guarded and would hunt rabbits , or anything to that matter but was bred from a show litter but the owner took it out with his lurchers on the lamp, no great shakes too slow but had a great nose. Sorry forgot he is 9 in January, worked day and night for 6 years but last couple of years I packed in lamping, hence the little 22 month, 21 inch ACD/WHIP/GREY for ferreting and mooching. What have you got mate. Quote Link to post
MagyarAgar 92
At the moment i have no dog! We had a Whippet wich worked on the lamp und daytime on rabbits. Last year we had to put down our 2 dogs (we had a german pinscher too) that was really hard for me and my family. I live in Germany and over here all hunting with dogs is strictly illegal. Im studying now and when i can afford a dog i will get one! Im missing it really to do some sport with the dog and to have it around at home if you know what i mean. And when the time is coming i hope there will be a nice kelpie x or acd x around. Quote Link to post

I lived in Soest about 30 miles from Dortmund for 2 years ( army) back in 71-73, saw a lot of game in Sennelager area but like you say no hunting. You wont go far wrong with them crosses, depends what you intend to use them for, anything excepot regular hare coursers, you will be fine, will retreive shot hares of course. Quote Link to post

Funny i go to university in Dortmund. But i come from cologne. Plenty of rabbits all over here, they are really a pest and nobody is doing something about it. Im only into rabbiting so as you say these crosses should serve me well Quote Link to post
