Yesterday I gave my old Brno a jolly good service ,cleaned the barrel and silencer out and fitted a Rimfire magic trigger kit before re-zeroing the scope and generally getting very excited about everything . Just noticed that the rounds i used to zero the old girl up were labelled"Eley Subsonic hollow "( I have a few left but not many ) but the ones I was sold today are " Eley subsonic hollow Xtra". How different are they ? If they are going to significantly alter my zero I'll relegate meself to lamp-bearer tonight . Eley suit mine the best now, used to use winchester super x, but they altered the cases and they jam all the time now when trying to eject... Quote Link to post

That's just what the guy I've just been out with said . Apparently he looked em up -same weight bullet ,same velocity. Looks like the "Xtra" as you say is a rebadging exercise. As for tonights expedition .Well, I had 100% success rate which sounds great until I mention that, er , I only fired ...two shots for two rabbits .
