onthebunny 0
well, last night my work mate called to say there was no work for today as site is not ready, going tomorrow instead, woke up at usual time of 5.30am anyhow and decided to go off for an early morning session, packed a flask and as usual took all 3 of my ferrets with me, got to permission at 6.30am drizzling, misty, but not cold, wonderful! decided to try a new patch close to a small wood, netted up 8 holes and let down sammy, the ferret who did not get a work-out last time! always ferret alone, just me and the dog so have to be on my toes!! had 6 rabbits after 30 minutes, each of the 3 ferrets had a work-out and everything went well, packed up at 8am with 10 rabbits, all healthy looking and a good size make a nice pie and a few days of ferret food! went for a walk around about after had packed up, saw 1 fox, not in best of shape and that was about it. looking forward for next time! greg Edited October 15, 2009 by onthebunny Quote Link to post
