After killing this fox tail it took it to bed for a sleep.

I hope these come through.

Final comment. Often on forums you see photos of dogs or pups and they are really bad shots. Now I know why, getting a Patterdalex Parson JRT to stand still for a photo shot is like finding teeth in a hen :D

I am really looking forwards to seeing how she turns out.

What I liked about this pup was it build, colour, it has a great nose and sniffing all the time when its not hanging on my trouser leg, or killing the fox tail. I wanted a dog that would track a wee bit and I think she has the nose to do just that.

great pics, obviously a character :clapper:

if you want to start her tracking/bloodtrailing then start her now,a bit of dabbed blood and drag the fox brush a couple of feet( where she cant see it).

the trail gets longer adding turns( wound beds) and bobs yours.

don't want to tell you how to suck eggs but don't use pig blood( too smelly) use blood from game if not available then from cattle.

deer feet on a stick( to add scent and break the ground) are a good tool too.

the best of luck with the pup.

Nice pup you have there. Bought the same cross for my son just over 3 yrs ago, what a cracking little grafter she has turned out to be. Use her for bushing and flushing to my two lurchers. Here is a couple of pics
