went to midlands, which was a grand day,, met up with good people, spent a bit too many pennies and gave the mutts a stretch in the lure coursing, my bitch refused to chase something with no ears!! lol but pup ran three times which impressed me though i think after this season she'l think the same as me working bitch:icon_redface:

pride of peaks WOW!! i loved it!! camping in such stunning landscapes, wish i'd done more dog walking, the setting was honestly beautiful, reminded of the part of ireland i'm from,, there was lure coursing wich i was unable to enter as i didn't realise the ye had to pre book - would have been a giggle but ah well, myself and me girl enjoyed watching the other dogs and took some pics, then there the beer tent which had some music which improved as the night went on, and a bucking bull WHICH I RODE!! and it was brilliant, will certainly be doing that again!!

next day was straight racing, there were several dog showing classes i didn't enter but met some people and admired their dogs, there was also harness racing - not sure the correct term, but haven't seen this done properly before! only seen a few jogging on the road in limerick but not the real thing!! my daughter absolutly loved it, took pics of them warming up but sadly the fecking camra died before the first race grr

anyways heres some pics i took . .

i work mine hence why my bitch isn't to bothered about chasing something without any ears, have two young uns coming into their first season and a bitch who had an injury earlier this year that seems to have recovered but will slowly get her into it, see how it holds
