Introducing ferrets..

Hi, Just wondering whats the best way to introduce my ferrets.. I have 3 jills, that are nearly 2 year old that have never been down a hole in their lives.. And I have 2 polecat and 1 albino hobs, that i rescued so have no idea of age or weather they been worked before or not..

You not got anybody local to you who could show you the ropes mate ??

Otherwise you just got to try them at a burrow .

I dont know anyone around here who goes. I have done it before but not for about 8 years.. and I didnt really know what to do properly then either..

If your doing it yourself you need to becareful watch the covers no to heavy your going to be trying them with out a locator etc so pick a time you think is right and try for a small burrow out in the open

Should the ferrets take to going in and out of the holes naturally? I will have have a look for somewhere out in the open, and Im probably gonna get a locator to be on the safe side, the mrs will kill me if I loose any..

Dont know if they will take to it mate every ferret's diffent give it a go and if you like it i reckon will will always use the same 2 or 3 out of them all that you think are the better workers
