Permission

Just wondering if anybody does pay to have sole right to vermin control on somebody's land...

I know some may repay in other ways like odd jobs, electrical work, plumbing and so on, but does anybody pay good hard cash..?

Right now i have a 14 year old lad who is hunting mad and i think i would pay a yearly amount for him to go on somebody's land doing the sport that he loves knowing that he is not going to get any grief....he's getting a little bit daring when he goes out somtimes if you know what i mean. But getting permission round here is like winning the lottery.

This is a very bad idea, I know you want to get out hunting but at the end of the day your doing the land owner a favour by controlling the vermin. Things like rabbits the land owner has a legal obligation to keep under control so they should be paying you not the other way round. If people start paying for permission it will set a president and every farmer will want money for letting you on his land. Your best bet is to get out door knocking and asking for permission or even ask all your family members and friends of friends somebody will know someone who can let you have permission.

Ive always offered to do "all their pest control" in exchange for sole permission, no payment, Im sure your son could offer the same, rabbit, pidgeon, rat, fox?, which may give him the edge he needs, as a lot of shooters want only pidgeon, ferreters want rabbits etc, but to offer everything makes more sense
