The deer do not take well to the tranquiliser's and do not take well to the transport, with a high mortality rate. Might be wrong but would be very interested in any information you might get. A group of volunteers near me used to get them at one time,they used to come from all over the place. they used to bring them here fully awake in horse transporters . good numbers of themas well. but this was a few years back, H&S may have put pay to that. Guest the techno viking Posted September 13, 2009 Report Share Posted September 13, 2009 ive been told that you can by live fallow and reds from deer farms for there meat value and release them but not sika so ring around some farms and see what they say. i might be wrong but worth a try hope that helps!!!!!!!
