Guest lurchers&terriers
theres a guy that goes around emptying bins in the morning here and a fox follows him about. he gives the fox food that was left in the bins. he follows him about like a dog and when the old guy takes a seat on the bench the foxs sits at his feet. its unreal, you need to see it to believe. as for killing things just for the sake of killing, whats the point of that? RicW 67
If you meet him again give him a fright to try and make him afraid of humans.A lovely experience but everybody might not have their heart in the same place as you. I like your style. You are perfectly right of course. It was just that the experience at the time felt so strange! A big 1 year old dog fox walks up to me and comes on like a pet dog. I have criticised people on campus for feeding the foxes for just your reasons. And to set the record straight No I have not gone all oochy-coochy about foxes or anything else. Pop up in my scope and if I get a clean shot you are a dead fox. To the guy who said about "the lad . . ." thanks bruv! I'm 61 and it's a lo-o-o-ng time since anyone called me a lad! The dog fox will almost certainly be off up the back of the campus before long. Wooded areas, loadsa wabbits, nice country for a fox. His mum is our resident vixen. Lives in an earth under a bridge on campus, brought up 2 generations so far. I've seen her in broad daylight taking 4 cubs for a walk round the back of the computer centre. Why not live and let live? The foxes on campus help keep the bloody rabbits down and do no harm to anybody. (Bar rabbits!) Ric
