paddy31 120
Well it all started back again yesterday after a long summer.I left the house at 5-30 and headed the 25 min drive to the place I was heading for waited for first light and headed in for a look I walked and walked and never saw a thing it was very poor.So I headed of to a differant place when I arrived it was raining nothing for it only head down for a look I walked all over the planting but never saw a thing when I got to the jeep I spotted a pricket at the bottom of a green field so I sat in behind some silage bails and took the shoot it was 261 yards on the ranger not to bad for the first of the season.Headed for the dinner after that and meet up with a mate then we both carried on and went back to the first place I was that morning where things were looking up there was a lot of deer on the move but most of them were does after a bit of looking around we spotted a few prickets so we both lined up and on 3 fired and two down when out of no where came a average fallow buck so I loaded again and necked him in full flight was more than happy with the way the day ended up.
