davidlloyd 16
Make your own. Get hold of some blue sun screen that boy racers used to put along the top of the windscreen with their names on. cut a circle out and stick it in the middle of your lamp glass. Cuts down a lot of perimeter glare. you will lose some of the brightness of the beam, but experiment with the size of the blue spot until you get the right balance of light. Try Halfords or similar. If you watch a blued lamp from a distance it is less visible due to less glare are lighting up the field esp. in rain. The less you're seen the better! :search: sounds good will try that cheers mate Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
My mates got an old one still kicking about.I used them in the early 80s BIG fault with them they were a sealed beam unit if the bulb went you had to buy the unit not just a spare bulb it was infuryating [bANNED TEXT] the bulb went on me a few times and as i used to lamp mainly on my own never carried a spare lamp.atvb dell Quote Link to post
