Coneytrappr 30
Bad idea. Many have walked down that road and it typically leads to ruined lines, wasted time and animals which can't do the job. People indulging their curiosity in regards to this breeding always seems to be to the detriment of the resulting kits. Do what is known to produce the best results. The best workers bred to other great workers. Robustness, working ability are the only things that matter- 'novelty' and colour don't mean a damn out in the field! Quote Link to post

pink head 28
Has anyone on here bred wild polecats or crossed them with ferrets. Have access to polecats but don,t know if it is worth a crack at breeding them or trying to cross them. Large size puts me off a bit. Plenty of them around here. Go mental when cage trapped, hissing, spitting and letting off scent glands. Soon quiet down though. i tried it the kitts were lovely but you couldnt handle them. 2nd gen wernt mugh better Quote Link to post
