Guest whitser
went fo a field near my house the other night to give the dogs a run around. i'd been keeping a close eye on this field with regards to lamping it once the dark nights came in,as it has been full of bunnies. the young terrier caught a rabbit out in the grass,as soon as i heard the sqeak i knew mixy must've hit. im gutted as its a perfect field to lamp. the rabbits were cleaned out by mixy at the end of the last season but i thought once they made a comeback they'd be immune for a year or so? Guest JOEB
Use the ground to get your dogs some easy catches, get there confidence up.........then when the season proper is on us......move on. At least it will keep you in Fert food for a while. JOEB Quote Link to post
Guest whitser
i know rabbits squeak with or without mixy, the fact that my young fell pup was able to catch a nearly grown rabbit that i knew it had mixy. Quote Link to post
