waidmann 105 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 hi all, i cannot find in my books the age at which a hob ( now 12 weeks) is able to line a jill. my mate has a hob and jill from me and already has a jill who is considerably older. he asks at which age he should seperate them. thanks. stealthy1 3,964 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 The only advise I can give you so that you dont get caught out with kits if you dont want them is, seperate them next Spring when the day light hours start to lengthen, thats what will trigger your jill to come into season, you should also see your hobs plums grow in size, that means he is now mature, hope this is the info you need Quote Link to post
