Guest Bigbob
Same thing happened here with my old hob had him done and months later he sired four litters the vet took him in a redid him , then said those postcards in the widow are a £1 a week but if you put your young ferrets on one we wouldn't charge you .Very generous i thought as i had nearly 40 young ferrets ,the old boys 8/9 now so hopefully they got better :11: :11: :11: Quote Link to post

Guest MOLLY
Took my sid to the vets a few weeks ago to be vasectomised only the vets got it wrong & castrated him instead, poor lad Ive heard of this happening so many times i emphasised it plus stuck a big note on the ferret box Well they said it would be tough going in a second time. The vet explained that it might be a worthless operation and did i want to get another hob and they would snip him free of charge. REPLACE MY HORIS, are they mad  Anyway the long and the short of it is. They had to castrate one testicle, the scar tissue was too great to see the vas deferens properly, so better safe than sorry. They could see the other one and snipped that. So hopefully now although he may not be fireing on all cylinders, when he does it will only be orange juice MOLL. Quote Link to post
