Fully Grown

Hi guys, At what age are ferrets/polecats fully grown and does a polecat tend to be a bit bigger than a ferret because ive been noticing between my 2 kits the polecat looks more filled out or u could say fatter than the ferret. THANKS

p.s. what age can u start taking them out ferreting mines are coming up for 4mnth old THANKS

I assume you mean a polecat coloured ferret ? there all very different shapes , sizes etc regardless of colour , roughly there fully grown around 4 months ish

start mine LEARNING at 4 months they are sent down after an experianced ferret to get them used to things! as for fully mature or grown i have never known any of mine to grow anymore in length after 5 1/2 months but the muscle and body shape will continue to mature and grow in size until around 6- 6 1/2 months!!!
