I can see what people get at with txt talk and bad spelling but sometimes people cant help it i know we have spell check ect but i think a little lenience should be giving I dont speak queens English and dont pronounce my words correctly so why should i have to type like this?? some folk are common whats the bit deal?? seems unfair to loose members over bad spelling :no:

Moomin, nothing wrong with bad spelling at all...but if you write a message and expect a reply you should at least take the time to put it across properly, not all this txt talk shite, it gets on my tits because people expect you to put the effort into replying to them and helping them and they can hardly be bothered to take two minutes to do it right themselves.... :realmad:

I quite agree - no one is perfect with their spelling and grammer all the time, most folks can cope with reading the odd mistake as long as a decent stab has been made at it.

What bugs me is that I think it is idleness and I reckon that a lot of it comes from young folk with a mobile phone constantly in their hand. Surely some of these young folk are still at school or not long left it and should be able to string a proper sentence together!

Do you reckon that in ten years time the "Queen's English" will be replaced by text talk in schools? :icon_eek:
