bowderdale 22
I carry out alot of work for the local council on void properties for infestations of fleas, I have used numerous insecticides over the past few years, just wondering what you use and how many visits do you take to eradicate the problem fleas, has anyone found problems with resistance to insecticides ? I am currently using cimetrol at 50ml 5/ltr. Quote Link to post
longnetter 32
I use Tenopa same mix 50ml to 5lts....two visits are not unusual and for the real sticky sods I'll use Ficam W but it's a costly option when Tenopa will usually cover it Quote Link to post

I am currently using cimetrol at 50ml 5/ltr. I also use Cimetrol and this seems to work well but if the place is jumping and the electic is on I go over the place with a hoover to get the fleas moving, I then go over it with Ficam W with added Nylar which is a IGR. if the infestation is heavy I doubt it wil be cured in one visit. Matt 160
I never usually have a problem using Ficam W, providing the recommendations are followed by the customer. At 94p per litre of diluted product, it's quite cheap to use as well. I buy the 500g jars which allows you to mix up the right amount of product (rather than the soluble sachets). Not had a call back yet this year, and do 1-5 per week. Quote Link to post
