you might be better off using a fresh rabbit mate.

the skin will be stiff after drying.

you can soak it in alchohol for about a week( with aulan or another tanning liquid) this removes the fat in the skin( aulan prevents infestation).

 

if need be freeze the rabbit and thaw before training. fresh is best,

Hello, Ive jus done this for my pup, tack to board, I use drawing pins, rub salt in, then next day rub vascoline (exscuse spelling) in the next day and keep in a cool dry place, I topp it up every few days, by re salting and vasso. let us know how you get on

hi mate put salt on in 3 days ago seems to b going ok at mo will let you know what happens HAPPY HUNTING
