waidmann 105 Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 you might be better off using a fresh rabbit mate. the skin will be stiff after drying. you can soak it in alchohol for about a week( with aulan or another tanning liquid) this removes the fat in the skin( aulan prevents infestation). if need be freeze the rabbit and thaw before training. fresh is best, cheers and good luck with the dog.
