mjr88 50
Hi all As i'm a quite a newbie to pigeon shooting i was just wondering about the quality of these two makes of cartridge. Over the last year or so my main brand for my 12 bore has been Lyalvale Supreme Game 6 -3 2 gms fibre wad. About a week ago i went to a different gunshop and the salesman told me that i was using Lyalvales top of the range cartridge and these were far too grand and pricey for pigeon shooting ( unless i had deep pockets ) He suggested that i try the equivelant and cheaper Fiocchi brand , with the plastic wad. So far i've used about 100 of these fiocchi cartridges and they seem just as good as the lyalvale. I would be grateful to hear from you seasoned shooters your opinions on the fiocchi brand as i feel that i may have been converted and for less money too John Quote Link to post

shottyscotty 3
i think the reason why there cheaper is because there plastic and not fibre but be carefull you dont get the farmer annoyed about them been everywhere. i would try using eley first fibre 28 gram 7 as they work really well for me and are very cheap Quote Link to post
