I've got a Remington remote controlled caller which works well. In all honesty though, Foxes that want to be called will squeek in using any methord,eg:- using the back of your hand.

The times I hear about people squeaking on the BACK of the hand .Learn to use the inside of the thumb-forefinger joint and create a multitude of different squeaks yourself .By opening and closing the hand you can add another dozen or so .Foxes that are so called call shy CAN be called by someone who knows what their doing . :good:

i never thought much of the electronic callers for calling foxes. the one i had was very repetitive and lacked variation, it had dog fox and vixen in heat along with rabbit squeel. although there was also widgeon, duck, magpie, crow and teal calls on it. they all worked well for a bit of air rifling, especially the magpie and crow.

I also use the palm of my hand not the back of my hand. We also use a callmaster which I have found to be very effective

I have also got the one from decoying.co.uk.Its not cheap but Ive had some good results with it,you can also buy different chips for them to call in different species. My only gripe is that on the the fox call chip all you have is numbers for the calls. It would be a much better unit if it told you what the calls meant.Such as if you knew the call was a vixen calling its cubs in you could use it early in the season or if it was a mating call you were using you could use it late season.Ive had the best results using the rabbit distress call and the hare distress call.
